- Happy New Year and thankyou to all our
visitors in 2008, we greatly value your individual and adventurous
spirits. Let's hope 2009 is a good year for everyone.
It's hot, it's summer. What a great time for sitting back under a
shady tree or around the pool and enjoy a chilled glass of Lime or
Pineapple wine, even over crushed ice...we do.
We are still celebrating some good results at this year's Perth Royal Show, with
our Tahitian Lime wine being voted the Top Commercial Fruit Wine of the Show
and our Passionfruit being awarded a Silver Medal.
The Tahitian Lime is available now. It has a fresh
aroma with a refreshing but complex palate that is nicely balanced between
sweetness and acidity. The firm citrus character of this wine beautifully
complements Australian seafood and we recommend it as an ideal accompaniment
to chilled lobster or fresh peeled tiger prawns or just under a
shady tree, as we do.

- The passionfruit wine has proven a winner
with you our customers also and is available now.
- It's made from ripe passionfruit and has a fanfare of fresh fruit character.
Why not enjoy it served with an Aussie pavlova and dollops of cream.
Next we are deliberating which wines will be the next show
winners..... Elderflower with
a hint of Passionfruit - a crisp refreshing dry white wine or the
sweeter Strawberry with that rich freshly crushed strawberry bouquet.
Which would you choose?
Once again the gardens at Firescreek are clothed in full summer greenery and we have a
new pavilion where you can enjoy a share cheese or antipasto plate with your
favourite chilled bottle of fruit wine. Our new sculpture garden is a must
see, as it hosts some of the original sculptures from the very first Canberra
Floriade. We do hope you will call in to visit again.
